amazing time
Last weekend my girlfriend and I stayed with you for 2 nights, we had a most amazing time from the time we walked through the door till leaving all staff were attentive and professional, the restaurant team again were at the top of there game, fitting us in when obviously busy but still giving us great service, the food, which as a chef is top of my priorities, was extremely well cooked and presented, the local produce list at the start is inspired and showed just how much emphasise you put on your producers. Something i also am very interested in.
best of luck for the future tho we dont think you need it

three wonderful nights
I have just spent 3 wonderful nights at Hotel Penzance in Penzance. Couldn't fault it.The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food in The Bay was out of this world, breakfasts to set you up for the day - all in all a very relaxing visit in lovely surroundings both in and out of the hotel. (oh and they have some great handmade cards in reception for all occassions and some lovely art hanging which is also forsale).
Would definately recommend for yourselves, your family, your friend or clients who may be down on business.
Didn't want to leave and can't wait to return.
Always good to pass on good recommendations.

Thank Goodness you were there!
How greatful we were that you opened up in the middle of the night to take us in! Penzance is a small place folks, with nowhere open 24:7 except Tesco! - warm, friendly and helpful and only too willing to help us on our way next morning and find our next lodging. Great beds, great staff & wonderful breakfast! Perfect hospitality.

we have only positives
to say about the hotel. As well as the good standard of accommodation the staff were very helpful too. The rooms are well equipped clean and comfortable. The view from the room in which we stayed is lovely as are the gardens. The dining room is well positioned and the service good. The food was tasty, interesting and well-presented.

festive get together
It was one of our most enjoyable get togethers that we've had for a very long time, the food, the atmosphere and the surroundings made the evening a very pleasurable experience. As one of the lucky people staying overnight, I was only sorry we had to depart early on Saturday morning. The room was beautiful, very comfortable with spectacular views [even in the dark!].

compliments to the chef
I dined with my wife and some guests over from Ireland at the Bay on Easter Sunday. Having been there previously I expected fine food, but my expectations and those of my guests were surpassed on that evening.
I have never felt the inclination to express satisfaction thus, but I know people are too ready to express the opposite. We have dined in all the restaurants in Penzance and the surrounding area, but feel yours is the most superior.
My compliments to the Chef and the staff

THANK YOU SO MUCHMy husband and I enjoyed our stay, the room was very comfortable and the view wonderful and the food, especially in the evening, really delicious. Touches such as the fruit bowl, home-made chocolates and complementary afternoon tea rather special and somewhat unusual. The staff were helpful, welcoming & charming too.

hms penzance dinner
Oh behalf of the Officers and Senior Rates messes of HMS Penzance I would like to thank you and your staff, very much indeed for the wonderful meal on Saturday. The food was exceptional & the restaurant provided a great atmosphere. We were all made to feel very welcome throughout, and the generous gift of port at the end of the meal was very much appreciated. We look forward to seeing you when next in port.

Special Gift for broken bed
Dear Proprieters of Mount Prospect!
I am the lady who's bed broke down.
What a surprise to recieve really a special gift from Hotel Penzance! So I can "wash"away the little unpleasant memory of your nice Victorian Hotel- I will do it with pleasure and thank you very much!
I assure you that I felt fine during the short stay - apart from......- and enjoyed the cuisine.
Maybe we will return once to the beautiful countryside of Cornwall and than surely choose your Hotel.
Yours sincerely

I just wanted to thank all of you…
…for making our stay at Hotel Penzance last week so pleasant. We had two nights with you last year in August and three nights last week and have been very impressed by the friendly and efficient service and the quality of the accommodation, food, and all facilities on both occasions. The room with its wonderful view was a real treat and the shower room with lovely toiletries was something special. The cafetiere and ground coffee is a great idea. I hope we will be able to return in the not too distant future. Many thanks

honeymoon memories
Thank you for the warm welcome on april 14th & 15th. This brought back memories as we spent our honeymoon at the hotel 25 years ago! The hotel has changed for the better with excellent accommodation, sea views, food and service from staff. We will definately be back again to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in April 2031. With this in mind, is it possible to book the same room, No 25, in advance for the Easter period in 2031?

friday Night christmas party
I want to thank all those who contributed to the very enjoyable evening, we were very impressed by the attentiveness and courtes of the waiting staff, as an added bonus, being a small office group, we were delighted to participate in the party games with the larger groups, particularly the pea-shooting!

Dear Yvonne
Just a quick note to say thank you for making the necessary arrangements last Friday. We had a lovely evening, just a shame you weren't around. Your manager - I think it was Jim? Did you proud. He welcomed us and was pleased to meet Charlie!! The toy was excellent - Chico the elephant goes everywhere with us now and the rose was also beautiful.
The food and Champagne was as good as we remembered on our wedding day. We both had Scallops to start. I had guinea fowl for main and Claire the Beef. To follow I had the Pavlova and Claire the ice cream.
Once again a big thank you to you and your staff for a wonderful evening - please ensure you pass on our thanks to all of them
Kind regards

New Year's Eve
Thank You!
Your New Years Eve was fantastic!! We have eaten in the restaurant many times and been delighted with both food and service but you really excelled even your own very high standards for this event. In fact we all agreed that we had not eaten better quality food anywhere...and we have travelled far. Your staff were superb, attentive, friendly and fun, maybe the pea shooters were a step too far but hey it was New Year, and one that we will remember. Thank you so very much to all of you, your hard work was much appreciated.

I shall be back!
It was my first visit to Cornwall, and I did enjoy the walking. In spite of the dire weather forcast, we were so lucky with sunshine most days. I congratulate you on your restaurant and the very delicious food plus the excellent service and friendly staff. I shall certainly be back!

Yvonne and Stephen....
Forgive our delay in writing to thank you and the staff of Hotel Penzance for the great accommodations and even greater service. It seems that the days and weeks following a holiday break are always spent catching up on what you missed when you were away and that is clearly what has delayed this message to you.
We enjoyed our days in Penzance and the Cornwall region and came home knowing that we had added an important part of English history, art, culture, etc., to our life experiences. Ever since our return, we've been telling all who will listen that your part of the UK must be on their future travel itineraries.
Thanks again for making our stay relaxing and enjoyable We miss the fine dining and attentive service that accompanied it.

good food guide
Whilst spending 4 days at thr hotel, we planned to eat in some of the restaurants in your guide. We never did because the food was so good at Hotel penzance. Wonderful seafood [lobster, sole & langoustine], good quality local lamb and beef, well cooked fresh vegetables and a good balance of flavours - the sacllops and prawns with saffron and coconut risotto with a touch of chilli oil was superb. The service is friendly and the decor, ambience & view stimulating.

our stay in your hotel
We had a wonderful time at your hotel. We feel very priviledged indeed.
Your hotel provides for many delights for all the senses - one only needs to be reminded of:- the view from the room, the design of the restaurant, the seagulls cries [for which you may not be responsible], the taste of the food, just the right blend of tea etc. etc.. But first of all... the human touch. We did appreciate this atmosphere made of friendliness which is neither over familiar nor overreserved.
We hope to have the priviledgeof staying there again for good holidays

Merry Christmas to all!
I will never forget our stay at Hotel Penzance. The room was delightful, the view magnificent, and the food - well I am not in the least surprised that you have won awards. How you made time for us when you were hosting a wedding, I do not know but I appreciated how special you made us feel even though you were especially busy. My aunt is a wine conoisseur, has tasted wines all over the world. She was very happy to find some of her favorites on your wine list. It took a long time for me to save up to be able to come to Cornwall from Virginia. Your staff and your hotel made the trip all the more special.
Thanks.
