Whether you decide to take the A30 or A38 when the M5 Motorway finishes at Exeter is a personal preference. The latter is more direct and by-passes the Tamar Bridge at Plymouth. Road links to and through the South West have been significantly improved bringing Hotel Penzance within convenient driving time from both London and the Midlands.

Cornwall by Rail

Penzance Railway station is a 5-minute walk from Hotel Penzance if you are travelling light. If not, taxi’s are available at the station but we’d advise booking - which we can assist with when you book to stay. Plan your journey with South Western Trains.

Europcar is based at the train station for those wishing to hire a car and consistently receive good reviews.

The Skybus from the Scilly Isles operates scheduled flights all year round with flights to Land’s End and Newquay offering an alternative way to travel for a day trip. Check out the circular trip where you can fly out and sail back on the Scillonian III – which docks in Penzance Harbour.
