Hotel Penzance Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions detailed below apply to all bookings.


Payment

You will be asked to guarantee your booking, or where indicated pay a deposit or full prepayment, with a debit or credit card including your 3 digit security code. We accept Mastercard, Maestro, Visa and Visa Debit.  Payment by American Express will incur an additional fee of 2.5%.

Payment is required on departure, but on arrival at the hotel we may request pre-authorisation with a credit card.


Bookings

All rates quoted are per room per night including VAT.  Meals and services are included only where specified.

Where the booking permits, any change to arrival or departure date or room type is subject to availability at the time of the change. This may result in a possible rate change.

Rooms are subject to availability. In the exceptional circumstances where we may have to cancel your booking, we will tell you as soon as possible, and offer you  alternative accommodation of the same standard, or higher, or offer a full refund.


Prepayment and canellation

Prepayment: There is NO prepayment required, although your credit card will be pre authorized prior to arrival

 Cancellation policy: FREE CANCELLATION UP TO 14 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL .

For cancellation after this time, a minimum payment of the first nights stay will be taken from the supplied credit card..

PLEASE NOTE we reserve the right to charge for the whole stay if we cannot resell the room, in the event of cancellation after 21 days prior to arrival or a No Show. Any charges will be levied after the cancelled stay period has elapsed.

Should you depart early prior to your departure date confirmed for any reason, we reserve the right to charge for the entire stay as an early departure fee. This fee might be refunded if the room is sold after you depart.

We strongly advise you have travel or UK holiday protection insurance in place.

General

Check in is from 3pm and check out is 11am. Rooms are serviced anytime between 8am and 4pm. Baggage can be stored if you arrive early and your room is not ready..

Please let us know if you have special requests, whilst every effort will be made to fulfil your requests, these cannot be guaranteed.

Car parking is available subject to availability; your room booking does not guarantee a parking space. Parking your car is entirely at your own risk and we cannot accept responsibility for theft or damage to your vehicle or other property howsoever caused.

Our hotel complies with the access requirements of disability legislation, but please note we do not have a lift between floors. If you have particular requirements please inform us at the time of booking so we can advise appropriate room availability.

We accept dogs at an additional charge in certain rooms at our discretion. Prices start from £20 per dog per night. If the dog causes any damage or soiling, an additional compensatory charge will be incurred. Owners accept responsibility for the behaviour of their dogs which are not permitted in the restaurant and must not be left unattended in bedrooms.

A tray charge will apply to all meals taken in your room. Breakfast times may vary at weekends and to accommodate special events. Please contact the hotel if you have specific dietary requirements.

Smoking is not permitted in any part of the hotel, including all bedrooms. If this is ignored a deep cleaning charge of £75.00 per room will be made. If the next occupant refuses to accept the room, you will be liable for the cost of the alternative accommodation as well.

Improvements, maintenance and changes to hotel facilities and grounds take place throughout the year. We will always do our best to ensure guests are not inconvenienced. No compensation will be paid if a facility is not available.

We welcome all comments, positive and negative. Guest’s comments are invaluable and help us maintain and improve standards of service and facilities offered. We wish to know of any dissatisfaction or suggestions whilst you are with us.
